Environmental Credentials Statement

Nordset is an environmentally responsible paper produced from FSC (Mixed Sources) CoC certified pulp from Well Managed Forests, is Elemental Chlorine Free (ECF) and is made Carbon Neutral. The greenhouse gas emissions produced from the transport, processing and manufacture of the wood pulp to the delivery to Raleigh Paper’s clients (the cradle to gate lifecycle) has been calculated, offset and certified by the Carbon Reduction Institute (CRI). Raleigh Paper has purchased carbon offset credits under the Voluntary Carbon Standard to offset these emissions. Nordset is manufactured by Nordland Papier, a company certified with environmental management systems ISO14001 and EMAS, the EU Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (Reg.No.D-162-00007) Nordset has also been awarded the EU “Flower” eco-label certification.

		INFORMATION ON NORDSET'S CARBON NEUTRAL CERTIFICATION AND THE CARBON REDUCTION INSTITUTE (410KB) Raleigh Paper has started examining and reducing its impact on the climate by engaging the Carbon Reduction Institute (CRI) to quantify the lifecycle impact of paper product Nordset and offset its impact to make it carbon neutral. CRI considered the cradle-to-gate lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions impact from manufacturing and transport stages. The CRI has certified Nordset paper (distributed in Australia by Raleigh Paper) as a carbon neutral product. An exceptional 4 colour quality printing sheet for an economical offset. Four colour work is readily accepted even up to 300 gsm, but UCR and dot reduction recommended. Laser performance should be pre-checked but is usually excellent from 90 to 140 gsm.
