 Environmental Credentials Statement  
  ecoStar is an environmentally responsible paper made carbon neutral (CN) and the fibre source has been independently certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). ecoStar is manufactured from 100% post consumer recycled paper in a process chlorine free environment under the ISO 14001 environmental management system which guarantees continuous improvement. Carbon Neutral: The carbon emissions of the manufacturing process for ecoStar including: Incoming deliveries – raw materials and wrapping, Premises – energy consumption on site, waste treatment and disposal, Energy of materials – raw materials, Outgoing deliveries – transportation of the finished product to Raleigh Paper warehouses have been measured and offset. The assessment / audit of the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions has been undertaken by the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Management (ECCM), an independent third party in accordance with the WBCSD-WRI GHG Protocol and the emissions have been reduced to net zero through internal change and / or externally through carbon offsetting by the CarbonNeutral Company in accordance with the requirements of the CarbonNeutral Protocol for the stated activity. www.eccm.uk.com www.carbonneutral.com

The manufacturer of ecoStar paper, Arjo Wiggins engaged an independent third party – the CarbonNeutral Company – to manage the measurement and offsetting of the carbon emissions of ecoStar's manufacturing process. The Carbon Neutral Company has certified the ecoStar product (distributed in Australia by Raleigh Paper) as being carbon neutral. This document contains further information about the Carbon Neutral Company, the independent assessment / audit of the emissions generated in the manufacturing process and the project through which these emissions are being offset.

Our Guarantee
ecoStar pre-print 90gsm is guaranteed for high volume laser, digital, inkjet and litho pre-print applications, the remaining weights are compatible. To confirm suitability testing is recommended.
Heat resistant inks are recommended when combining lithography with secondary electronic imaging techniques.
The recycled fibre is first quality 100% post-consumer (PC) and is FSC Chain of Custody certified. The PC fibre is sourced close to the mill requiring less transport and thus reducing greenhouse emissions.
